Review
The playground in the longish Harold's Cross Park is a lively and traditional playground packed with various play equipment. It contains two multi play units with slides - one for toddlers and one for slightly older kids -, several springers, some swings, two squeeky squirrel barrels and a tractor, a horse with cart, a train and a red car to facilitate pretend play. It is rather shady and as its surface is covered with wood chips it might be a bit muddy after a few rainy days. Next to the playground there is a tiny waterfall and a few ducks bathing in a small pond, so after visiting the playground it is also worth taking a walk in the park itself, which is not big but well-kept. From early spring until late autumn there are some beautiful flower-beds as well to admire. (Ball games are not allowed.)
How to get there: Bus: 16, 16a, 19a, 49, 49a, 54a
